What to expect..

A psychiatric assessment can be ordered for a variety of reasons specially in adults. The assessment takes an estimated 45 - 60 minutes to complete depending on the presenting condition and co-morbidities. It is a common practice to have a second assessment session to review and document new or additional information. We try to obtain as much information as possible during the first assessment, including family history, social history, and medical history. We try to have a relaxed environment where healing can begin.
