Prescribing medication is not always necessary, a detailed assessment is essential to determine the indications for the medication. Once a medication is prescribed close monitoring is required with maybe the addition of labs and possible referrals to see other specialists. Reassessments with outcome measures may be required periodically. Medications and Individual Therapy work together and may only be needed for a period of time.
